As General Manager Market Development with the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation (AWBC) Paul Henry is responsible for the Australian wine sector’s global collaborative marketing and Wine Australia brand initiatives.
Paul commenced working with the AWBC in 2003 as Regional Manager – UK and Ireland, moving to his current role based in the Adelaide head office, in early 2006. Paul was a member of the taskforce that delivered the industry strategy Directions to 2025 in May 2007. A notable feature of his current position has been the development of the new Wine Australia brand segmentation strategy based around the identification and explanation of four levels or "personalities" of Australian wine.
His knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Australia wine sector has been amply demonstrated through his continued involvement in industry presentations and wine show committees. A particular highlight has been his participation in the 2007 Len Evans Tutorial as the Brokenwood Scholar.
Prior to his appointment with the AWBC, Paul was an Associate Director of Enotria Wine Cellars, a leading UK importer/agent. He also worked for four years in wine media with Harpers and World Wine and Food Network, hosted a consumer drive-time show about wine and restaurants on BBC Radio London, and held various roles in wine retail and the on-trade in both the UK and France.

2003年起，保羅先生開始擔任AWBC英國及愛爾蘭區(qū)域經(jīng)理；于2006年年初擔任AWBC市場拓展總經(jīng)理至今，總部辦公室位于澳大利亞阿德萊得市。同時，保羅先生是澳大利亞葡萄酒行業(yè)戰(zhàn)略小組成員，于2007年5月推出了“至2025年之澳大利亞行業(yè)指南”。 “Wine Australia”是保羅先生擔任該職位后成功推出的行業(yè)發(fā)展新品牌戰(zhàn)略，基于對澳大利亞葡萄酒四大個性/定位的定義與闡釋。
保羅先生擁有澳大利亞葡萄酒資深的知識、經(jīng)驗以及對該行業(yè)的滿腔熱情，持續(xù)參與行業(yè)的方方面面以及葡萄酒比賽委員會的事務(wù)，成為行業(yè)內(nèi)的示范人物。值得一提的是，2007年作為“Brokenwood學(xué)者”身份參加了“Len Evans研究”項目。
在加入AWBC之前，保羅先生是英國主要葡萄酒進口商Enotria Wine Cellars的聯(lián)合總裁。他也與葡萄酒媒體Harpers、World Wine及Food Network工作四年，在英國國家廣播電臺BBC主持葡萄酒與餐廳的互動節(jié)目，之后在英國與法國的葡萄酒零售及貿(mào)易公司擔任各種要職。
